Admissions Process

We follow a structured admissions process to ensure that each student’s needs are understood and appropriately supported. This process includes placement assessments and collaboration with families to determine if our program is the right fit.

Step 1: Initial Inquiry

  • Families begin by submitting an inquiry form or contacting the admissions team.
  • Parents are invited to share any existing reports, IEPs, or medical documentation that provide insight into the child’s background.

Step 2: School Tour and Parent Meeting

  • Families are offered a tour of the school and a meeting with key staff, including educational and clinical team members.
  • This is an opportunity to discuss the family’s goals, ask questions, and better understand our approach.

Step 3: Application Submission

  • A completed application form is submitted, along with required documents such as previous assessments, medical history, and school reports.

Step 4: Placement Assessment

  • The child is invited for an assessment session, where our multidisciplinary team observes the child in a naturalistic setting and apply formal and informal assessments.
  • Assessments may include academic readiness, communication level, behavioral observations, and functional skills.

Step 5: Review and Decision

  • The admissions committee reviews all gathered information to determine program fit.
  • Parents are notified of the outcome.

Timeline

  • The timeline may vary, but the full process typically takes 2– 3 weeks, depending on availability of documents, assessment scheduling, and team review.

Our admissions process is designed to be thorough, transparent, and family-centered, ensuring that each child receives the support they need from day one.
