Overview

School Profile

Josour School provides Early Intervention within an inclusive school environment, delivering highly personalised programmes. The profile of the school will be as follows:

Catering for mixed genders.

Serving ages ranging from 3 up to 9 years old.

Designed and staffed to educate young people with mild/moderate Autism Spectrum Conditions; and additional learning/ developmental needs.

Following a bespoke curriculum aligned to the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the UK National Curriculum, with consideration given to the Arabic language, culture and religion.

Delivering a dynamic integrated approach to therapeutic intervention (Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Positive Behaviour Support).

Providing high-caliber staff who are themselves open to learning and who are given appropriate training opportunities to enhance the educational life of the school as an integral part of their professional development.
