• Visual and Concrete Learning: Emphasis will be placed on using visual aids, manipulatives, and real-world contexts to make abstract mathematical concepts more accessible and understandable.

National Curriculum for Science – for Years 1-4 (Ages 5 – 9)

• To foster a sense of wonder and curiosity about the world in all children.

The National Curriculum – Lower Phase

In addition to the subjects already discussed, our curriculum in this age group will encompass: Art, Design Technology; Geography; History; PHSE; Cross-Curricular Topic; Special People; Special Days and Education for Social Responsibility (ESR).

Information Technology

Each of our classrooms will be equipped with: an interactive wall-mounted smartboard; and a generous number of iPads and laptops will be available to support our students’ learning.
